Why i don't understand some of the pro-choice arguments?

"40 years ago, a drive to NYC for an illegal abortion

THE CONTROVERSY about abortion rights being part of health insurance reform brings back the following pivotal episode in my life.

In the 1960s, I was working as a pharmacist in Boston, and my views on abortion were still emerging. There was a young college student who worked in the pharmacy who got pregnant by her boyfriend. Abortions were illegal then, but she found a physician in New York who did them. I drove her down there because her boyfriend was nowhere to be seen.

What an experience! I couldn’t go in with her, so I waited outside for four hours till she finally came out sick as a dog. And I was worried about my winding up in the slammer.

That experience shaped my views on women’s reproductive rights. I became pro-choice then, and at 66, I still am.

This article Confused the living daylights out of me!

If I were this man, who had just broken the law by driving this woman to go have the abortion, seeing her come out as "sick as a dog," worry about going to the slammer. I would have been pro-life after seeing what the woman had gone through. I just don't get it!

How is it that someone can go into a pro choice facility, see everything they do and still come out and say that they're pro choice?

I'm sure most of you reading this have heard of the woman who used to be a very respected person in the abortion mill she worked in, she quit after seeing a baby fend for his life in the womb of the mother that wanted the abortion. She saw the baby on the sonogram that the mother wasn't allowed to see; she was knocked out for the entire procedure; she saw the doctor put the needle in and try and kill the baby with a shot. The baby swam away and tried to save its self. Now you tell me the baby doesn't have a functioning brain, that it doesn't have a thought process. That baby has more thought process than a fish, because a fish will see the hook; it'll see its death coming, but it still swims right to it.

It never ceases to amaze me that people will see the horrors of abortion and just look over them and say well she's not pregnant that frees her to be who she wants to be. They don't evan realize how wrong they are. Once a woman comes out of there she won't be able to live her life the way she used to. She'll remember when she finally has kids the one that she didn't have, the one that didn't make it past the womb. If someone who has a miscarriage is affected by it, she feels sad on the same day that it died, then what do you think a person who purposefully kills their child is going to do? Also, what about the boyfriend? What responsibility did he have to face up to? She had to face the procedure he didn't have to do anything he's free of having to deal with a girlfriend who's pregnant. It's more of a fix up for the guy than the girl, the guy doesn't have any of the side effects or the mental issues that may also come up.
